Dr. Thad Potocki is passionate about helping people live healthier, more vibrant lives through chiropractic care. His mission is to guide patients toward lasting wellness by addressing the root causes of pain and restoring the body’s natural ability to heal.

Born in Detroit, Michigan on his mother’s birthday, October 6, Dr. Potocki learned early on the value of service and dedication from his father, who was both a firefighter and a National Guardsman. These lessons shaped his lifelong commitment to serving others.

In 1976, Dr. Potocki graduated from Notre Dame College Preparatory High School and enrolled at Eastern Michigan University. Following the passing of his father, he remained close to home, attending a local junior college to support his family. In 1978, he relocated to Phoenix, Arizona, where he pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and developed a deep passion for tennis. Although a knee injury altered his path away from a potential professional tennis career, it led him toward his true calling.

After earning his engineering degree, Dr. Potocki moved to San Diego. Years of sports and physical activity had taken a toll on his body, and by 1982, an orthopedic surgeon recommended low back surgery. Two weeks before the operation, he visited a chiropractor for the first time—an experience that changed the course of his life. The surgery was canceled, and Dr. Potocki became inspired to help others the same way chiropractic care had helped him.

In 1986, he began his chiropractic training at Life Chiropractic College West in the San Francisco Bay Area. He graduated in June 1989, earning his Doctor of Chiropractic degree and receiving the Clinical Excellence citation for his exceptional skills and dedication to patient care. Since then, Dr. Potocki has built successful practices both in the Bay Area and in his current home of Folsom, California.

Dr. Potocki remains committed to providing comprehensive chiropractic care focused on long-term wellness, prevention, and optimal function. He believes true health begins with a properly aligned spine and a balanced lifestyle.
